Getting Started

How is MomentMD different?

We are a holistic-based telemedicine platform that focusing on improving and enhancing continuity of care, preventive, and integrative medicine. We supply providers with their own “virtual practice” to connect with patients in the MomentMD network and also use it internally with their own patients.

Who is Eligible to join the MomentMD Network?

We welcome board-certified medical and dental physicians, veterinarians, and mid-level practitioners who are committed to high quality care with a focus on preventive and integrative medicine. 

How can I get started with MomentMD?

To get started, please visit app.momentmd.com/signup or download MomentMD from the App Store or Google Play and complete the registration and provide all required supporting documents.

If you’re an organization please send an email to contact@momentmd.com with the subject line “Organization Inquiry”.

What happens after I register and submit supporting documents?

You will receive an email notification from the credentialing committee with their decision in less than two weeks. If approved, you will receive email instructions from our Provider Relations department with your on-boarding information.

How can Organizations use MomentMD?

We offer our platform to Universities, Medical Centers, and Hospitals so they can provide a full robust solution to their patients and clients internally and also see new MomentMD patients. We are also able to leverage our MomentMD providers to help during peak times and after-hours.

What device do I need to use MomentMD?

You can use your own smartphone, tablet, or computer. Our app is available in the App Store and Google Play Store

Video Consultation Appointments

Is there a set schedule?

Our video consultations are appointment-based and available 24/7. You can set your schedule and add time slot’s day of or weeks in advance. 

Is there a minimum number of visits required?

No, you can choose to set as many appointments as you’d like. However, in order to keep your profile visible to patients, you should have at least one open time slot.

What are best practices for a video consultation?

  • Have a strong internet connection, Wi-fi is usually best. 
  • A fully charged phone, tablet, or computer.
  • A private Hipaa-compliant area
  • Dress professionally 
  • Keep direct eye contact with the camera.
  • Stay focused on the patients chief complaint.
  • Review the patients health panel prior to entering the call
  • Take notes during the video call and complete your notes within 24 hours of the video consultation.

Is there a patient chart I can review before the video call?

Yes you’ll be able to view the patient’s medical records prior to entering the video call along with a “chief-complaint” questionnaire they fill out when they’re booking. 

How do I order labs?

You can send a pdf order of the lab through the chat and the patient can print out and take to their local lab. The lab will send you the results via Hipaa-compliant email. 
 
We are actively integrating with labs around the country to automate the process. 

What if the VCPR hasn’t been established with the client? (Veterinarians Only)

Payment

How does compensation work?

You’re compensated per consultation or subscription. Since we are a cash-based platform you will receive weekly deposits.

How are consultations rates set?

MomentMD does analysis to come up with the most optimal rate based on current market analysis. 

If you have your own patients or you’re an organization wanting to use MomentMD, you can set your own prices for the flat rate and subscription. 

What is a subscription?

It’s a concierge model that allows patients to subscribe to you individually on a monthly bases but they can only book and message you within your availability. 

Support

How do I refer a patient?

You can send them to one of our specialist on MomentMD or a local provider in their area. If you’re that local provider you can have them book an in-person visit with you.

I am a current provider or organization and need support. Where can I request help?
