
Trump Administration Decides to Cover Telemedicine in Battle Against Coronavirus
On March 10, 2020, the Trump Administration briefed the public regarding their response to increasing numbers of coronavirus in the United States. The Administration announced that Medicare and Medicaid will now extend coverage for coronavirus testing and treatment, waving all copays in response to the growing pandemic. The Administration also announced telemedicine coverage by Medicare and Medicaid for patients concerned about contracting the virus by going into a physical office.
