Getting Started

We are a comprehensive-based telemedicine platform that is focusing on improving and enhancing continuity of care and access to specialty care. We supply providers and clinics with their own “virtual practice” to connect with existing and new patients.

We welcome board-certified medical and dental physicians, veterinarians, and mid-level practitioners who are committed to high quality care with a focus on preventive and integrative medicine. 

  • A computer with an internal or external camera. You can use a wide range of web browsers such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
  • A smartphone or tablet with the camera enabled and our app downloaded. We recommend using a stand for your phone or iPad during visits to keep the camera stable.

Yes, any provider using our platform must carry their own malpractice/liability insurance policy.

Check that you’re on wifi and have a strong signal and rejoin the video call. If there’s still an issue connecting, let the patient/client know through the chat. 

All providers receive access to tutorial videos on how to use and navigate the system. 


  1. Go to browser setting
  2. Go to permission
  3. Make sure microphone and camera are enabled for MomentMD website. If enabled, remove MomentMD from permissions completely. 
  4. Close browser
  5. Clear cache
  6. Login to MomentMD and try again


  1. Go to your phone setting and make sure microphone and camera are enabled:
  2. Close the MomentMD app by sliding up on the screen and flicking it up.

iOS: Settings>MomentMD>Microphone and Camera>Toggle on

Android: Settings>Apps>MomentMD>Permissions>Enable Camera and Microphone

2. If it’s still not working, delete the app and re-download. When prompted to enable microphone and camera, click ok.


Providers are paid per consultation and/or patient subscription. MomentMD sets rates.

Providers with existing patients can set rates of the consults and subscriptions. 

On your MomentMD profile, click on any of the fields:

You can edit this area right in your account. If you need to change your address or correct an error contact admin@momentmd.com.

About Visits

Patients and pet parents join our platform seeking different services. They can browse by type of care and search by name, specialty, distance, language, and will only see providers licensed in their state. 

We can add MomentMD links to your website, blog, social media etc. 

Patients access you directly through the MomentMD platform for cash pay services. 

You get to set your own availability and update it anytime directly into your calendar on MomentMD. Availability is dynamic so it can be seen in real time by patients. 

  • Have a strong internet connection, Wi-fi is usually best. 
  • A fully charged phone, tablet, or computer.
  • A private Hipaa-compliant area
  • Dress professionally 
  • Keep direct eye contact with the camera.
  • Stay focused on the patients chief complaint.
  • Review the patients health panel prior to entering the call
  • Take notes during the video call and complete your notes within 24 hours of the video consultation.

Providers document directly on the MomentMD platform. Providers can paste their own note template. The platform allows e-prescribing, lab ordering, asynchronous chat, and sharing of patient education material.

You can send a pdf order of the lab through the chat and the patient can print out and take to their local lab. The lab will send you the results via Hipaa-compliant email.
